Though it sounds strange to hear the slogan of the couture fashion show held recently in New York, it does make a sense, if not catchy enough to attract those who can make a change in the world.

The lingerie show that took place at Freedom Bay St. Lucia beach resort has the slogan “Empowering women on a G-string, rather than a shoe-string.” Models in thongs walked down the catwalk confidently as the audiences appreciated the latest and unique designs of lingerie.

Hosted by “Modern Family” star Sofia Vergara, part of the proceeds of the event will go to the Seven Bar Foundation, an organization that provides loans to underprivileged women.

Vergara said that beautiful women in thongs can definitely call more attention and that this can be one of the ways to encourage the public to give back for those who are in need.

Supermodel Kate Moss has stressed in recent interviews that she had finally let go of the wild partying days as she’s working to live a normal life. However, photographs revealed that the years have changed her appearance a bit, with her recent vacation trips photos in France and Thailand revealed a little cellulite and some wrinkles on her face.

But in her new assignment, the 36-year old supermodel posed in fine maternity lingerie and the end product of the pictures showed a younger Moss.

British online gossip site Daily Mail reported that it seemed like lingerie company Valisere went to great lengths to do some airbrushing of the photographs in order to make Moss look younger. This development has yet to be confirmed by the company.

A series of scandals involving drugs and excessive partying have affected Moss’s modeling career in the past few years.

Paris lingerie is definitely sexy especially when worn by beautiful women such as Anna Chapman, a Russian spy who was deported out of United States for suspicion of spying.

Chapman seemed to have garnered enough global interest that the Russian edition of men’s magazine has signed her up to become a cover-girl for its latest issue. In the magazine, the 28-year old personality posed in lingerie with a gun.

Unlike what’s expected, Chapman chose not to hide from the media scrutiny after returning to her native country last July. Instead, she proudly walked around and presented herself to local media. This move seemed to have added more media interest on the beautiful Russian spy.

Chapman and nine other Russian spies who were arrested last July were given honors by Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.

Her growing popularity seems to have created a few high profile enemies for “Gossip Girl” star Taylor Momsen. Despite this, the 17-year old actress and now-fashion line endorser continues to breeze through with a new sexy magazine shoot.

The young actress can be seen holding a rifle and a handgun while donning on a sexy holds up lingerie composed of black stockings and suspenders. She had her usual dark-inspired make-up.

Momsen had been causing a stir in the industry by admitting that she owns a vibrator and even admits carrying along a knife just for fun and she said that despite the seemingly negative impression she’s giving the girls her age the actress was quotes saying that she’s not a bit concerned, adding that she did not enter showbusiness to be a role model.

Her attitude seems to have gotten under the skin of popular reality show host Tim Gunn of “Project Runway” where she was labeled by the former as a “brat.”

British singer Stacey Solomon joined Welsh lingerie model Danielle Lineker and other leading European celebrities in promoting the widespread breast cancer campaign conducted by designer lingerie giant Asda.

The two aforementioned celebrities posed in their sexy underwear to promote Asda’s latest Tickled Pink campaign. In the photograph, the two stars were seen covered in sheets and flowers as their sexiness were enhanced further. According to reports, a significant percentage of the sales coming from the items advertised will go to Breast Cancer Campaign and Breast Cancer Care.

Solomon, a former contestant of top rating talent search “X Factor,” revealed that she’s a staunch supporter of the campaign, adding that her aunt suffered from the disease a few years ago despite only being in her thirties.

Lineker also revealed that someone close to her mom also suffered from the disease earlier this year which made her show her support for the Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Nearly $30 million pounds has been raised for breast cancer campaign by the designer lingerie retailer since it launched the project nearly fifteen years ago.
